About the Ensemble

Aiken Kinderchoir is vocal ensemble for boys and girls in the CSRA area. They range in age from pre-kindergarten to grade three and represent many area schools.

This ensemble was founded in 2012 by Director, Lorraine Ray. Since then, the ensemble has performed with M'Aiken Music, Belles Canto, and Bound to Sing. We have performed for "Character First" with the Aiken County Schools, for the Optimist Society, for the Mayor's retirement celebration for GreenJacket's baseball game and for the United Way awards banquet. In addition, Aiken Kinderchoir encourages community service; we have taken our music to Anchor Rehab, Azalea Woods, Cumberland Village, and Cumberland Hill. The Kinderchoir has also performed "God Bless America" for an Augusta Greenjackets game.

Aiken Kinderchoir prides itself on creating an engaging environment where kids can learn music fundamentals and grow as young musicians while being expressive and working together as a group to create beautiful music.
